Silvery hues scanned their surroundings as though in search for something, passing over the faces of dozens and dozens of humans who could not see her. The young hollow preferred to be among these weaker beings, even if they could pay no heed to her. In fact, she frequently found herself speaking to them, even though her words would knowingly fall on deaf ears.
But that was okay, as long as she didn’t have to fight. Living in Hueco Mundo meant that one had to fight for themselves every day, every moment; and though she knew how to fight (and fight well for that matter) she chose not to. Confrontation just wasn’t quite her thing…
However, something had spiked her curiosity here in the world of the living— a reiatsu that stuck out over the rest. It was human but… there was something noticeably different about it. So, out of sheer curiosity, the redhead sought it out until finally her eyes came to rest on the figure of a sleek male. Curiosity quickly turned to hesitation as the hollow took to peeking out from around the corner of a nearby alley, glinting wide eyes staring at the ravenette and idly wondering if he’d be able to see her.
He was being followed…. wasn’t he?
Uryū had been aware of the stalking reiatsu for some time now. An easy enough task while the feeling edged closer and closer to him. The reiatsu was cause for alarm; for an all different matter. It came across as neither threatening nor laden with ill-intent.
Perhaps it has another purpose for pursuing me…?
The boy considered it best to avoid such attention and make his way to an area lacking in population and halting. Should he defend himself? Approach them? This was a situation the Quincy did not often find himself in. Despite that, his decision came quickly as he took in a sharp breathe before speaking.
“Do you have some business with me, or do you intend to continue silently following behind?”
He firmly ended his sentence while turning to set blue irises on the female who only showed half a face, peeking around the corner.
